Timothy Peterson, President, CEO
Tim graduated from Kearney State College, Kearney, NE in 1968. He has also received a degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Rutgers University, Newark, NJ in 1976. After spending 16 years with the US Treasury, Office of Comptroller of the Currency, Tim spent 13 years with Mark Twain Bank in commercial lending.
Tim's community involvement's include, Board of Directors Red Oak Industrial Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Red Oak Country Club.
Ivan Husa, Vice-Chairman
Ivan graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Fort Hays University in 1970 with a double major in Business and Agriculture. He was employed as salesman for over seven years selling ag chemicals and veterinary supplies. In 1977 he moved to Red Oak as Branch Manager for PCA, Ivan then moved to Griswold to become Vice President, then president, of Griswold State Bank. In late 1987 he became President of Security State Bank. In 1997 Ivan was promoted to Vice-Chairman of Security State Bank. His background includes, all types of lending, marketing and administration.
Edward Oster, VP, Agriculture Loans
Edward graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 1987 with a double major in Finance and Agri-Business. He was then employed by the Federal Home Loan Bank in Des Moines, IA as an examiner of the savings and loan industry until May, 1988. At that time, Ed began his career with Security State Bank in Stanton, IA. His background includes all types of lending, compliance and administration. Ed is also involved with his personal operation of a cash grain and livestock operation.
Monica Fine, Assistant Vice President
Consumer & Real Estate Loan Officer
Monica is a native to Red Oak, graduating from Red Oak High School. She began her banking career in 1977 with Montgomery County National Bank. After working as a Bookkeeper, Consumer Loan Clerk, Audit and Operations Manager she became a Consumer Loan Officer. As Vice-President, Consumer Loans, she was instrumental in building the Consumer Loan Department. After leaving MCNB she worked as the Human Resource Director for a new startup manufacturing firm in Red Oak. Monica joined Security State Bank in September of 1997. She immediately began with Real Estate loans and is now head of the Consumer Loan Department.
Chad Jacobs, Commecial Loan Officer
Chad graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance Department. He began his banking career with Security State Bank in January, 1997 as a loan clerk. This year Chad was promoted to officer status and made a junior loan officer. The scope of his concentration is working with Tim and Ed on Commercial Ag Loans.
